Prayer
Our services and Torah reading are regularly led by members of the community. Our children participate in a weekly youth service. Those not yet old enough to attend the youth service are offered either our children's education program or for our younger children a babysitting program. We seek to enhance the role of women in synagogue life within the guidelines of halacha and modern orthodox tradition.

Torah Study
Our community stresses communal Torah study as it does Tefillah. Our learning not only calls upon us to rely upon Jewish education and knowledge, but also our learning experiences in the secular world. Therefore, our learning is eclectic, ranging from daf yomi to monthly book clubs to lectures on important holidays such as Yom Ha’atzmaut and Martin Luther King Day.

Communal Affairs - Chesed Projects
We involve ourselves in the local Englewood community, the American Jewish community, and the Israel community. This includes projects at Englewood Hospital, a local homeless shelter, AIPAC, support for terror victims in Israel, support for American and Israeli soldiers, as well as numerous other diverse projects.

Sharing Our Values with and Learning from Jews of Other Denominations as well as the Surrounding Non-Jewish Community
We hope to provide an open community and to develop joint programming (e.g., Adult Educational Programming) with existing Reform and Conservative synagogues in the area. In addition, we hope to be able to coordinate joint programming with the Chabad in Tenafly.

Israel
We are a deeply Zionist community. We have regular prayers for the State of Israel, the soldiers of the IDF and for the safe return of captive IDF soldiers.
